Art Workshops & Book readings
Based upon the success of last years Saturday book readings and art workshops at Worthing Library and Worthing Museum and Art gallery we would like to offer the same again for this coming year. Please see this page for updates about 2018's parade activities.
The parade continues to run every year through grants awarded to the Parade from various local funds that are available for community projects such as ours.
However, without vital support from local business we could not continue to provide the best quality parade experience every year. In the past years local business owners have gifted to us various things to help us put on a truly amazing event for the children and our community.
If you would like to help us with the cost towards promotional materials, transport and advertising amongst other things then please do not hesitate to contact us:
Project Manager's Notes
I became Project Manager of the Worthing Children's Parade in 2014 and love working on such an exciting and valued community project. As well as being a busy mum of two, I am also the Head of the Creative and Expressive Art Faculty at St Andrew's high school for Boys. It is extremely important to me that children of all ages have access to high quality Arts provision of all disciplines, to support their creative and emotional development. The Children's Parade is the perfect vehicle for this as it brings together local schools and the community to celebrate the achievements of our children and young people in Worthing and the surrounding area.
We’d love to hear from you!
